Public Sector Management Program
The Public Sector Management Program (PSM Program) is a unique national management
and leadership training program for the public sector.
A joint venture between federal, state and territory governments, the program combines tertiary study with experiential learning and focuses on the strategic direction of the contemporary public sector.
It helps participants develop an integrated view of policy business acumen, public accountability and leadership. Recurrent themes include accountability, ethics and relationships management.
Regular curriculum reviews ensure that the PSM Program reflects the latest management practice, incorporates government objectives and is responsive to client needs.
In Queensland, the PSM Program is hosted by the Public Service Commission.
Courses commencing in 2009.
